Domestic and family violence

OUR VISION

To create violence-free space in our community that embraces equal opportunities and rights among women and men.

Domestic and family violence support

In recent years, we have seen Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) cases/clients at the level of separation or divorce. This prompted us to research whether or not our communities understand domestic and family violence indicators.

Our research revealed there is a big gap in knowledge in this space. Thus, GLAPD decided to offer professional Domestic and Family Violence services to the victims of this scourge.

Our role

As a non for profit, non-government organisation, we provide representation and advocacy for equity between women and men, families, and children in the community by:

  • Creating a safer community, GLAPD works and collaborates with other DFV networks as well as the commonwealth and NSW Governments
